Tax cuts are expected to be the centrepiece of the May Federal Budget. But the Sun-Herald newspaper reported today that the poll, conducted by Roy Morgan for the National Welfare Rights Network, showed almost 90% of people would rather have more spending on health, education, aged care and poverty relief than a $5 a week tax cut. |
